It was very cold in the mountains, but not as cold as it was during our previous trips! While we were dressing the elk, we had a propane heater up to thaw our hands! There was alot of amazing scenery, of course, and the stars were amazing! They are so much brighter, and you can see so many more, when you are that far away from towns and cities. We even sang Christmas carols around the campfire one night, courtesy of Courtney and Jordan.
